Any decent things Chuck has done are always quickly discredited by the fact that, deep down, he’s just an asshole. 5x17 highlighted the big difference between Dan and Chuck. Dan sent in the video because he couldn’t stand to see Blair so unhappy with Louis. Chuck was actively scheming to keep Blair trapped in her unhappy marriage just so she wouldn’t be able to ‘find happiness with someone else.’ I don’t care if you find my opinions biased, Chuck can go fuck himself.
